My multimillionaire ministers would increase the price of petrol and electricity whenever the oil prices increase. But when then price falls, they explained that the economy is volatile and the price might shoot up anytime so don't keep adjusting better. Plus more income for government means more bonus mah. it takes a while to readjust pricing. but in sg every orifices that you have will get shafted - from ear drums to nostrils to mouth to lj/cb kang to karchng. "no stones left unturned and no holes left unplugged" is how sg is managed.
