SDP claims they are politically "concerned" for the people. if that's so, why the need to involve foreign forces to embarrass singapore? this isn't the first time. what do they stand to gain? enhance foreigners' anger and hatred towards singapore or simply get a kick to smearing our own country?

i do not think that SDP wants a better singapore. they only wish to see the familee and the leegime being humiliated. if during the humiliation, singapore indirectly got herself being bashed too, they just couldn't be bothered.

Democracy is a good but not necessary factor. Certain areas of Singapore society do need to shift towards democratic ideas.
