there is no way gold will shine and glitter again even there is breakout of war, unless it's really a world war. those terrorist or small scale offensive in eastern europe or middle-east will not constitute to rise in gold price. more like it's gloom for gold prices.

I am glad that the gold I accumulated in the late '90s is now worth a lot more. I sometimes take it out to play with and admire its beauty.
