I think he wanted to grow his business himself. Some people want to grow organic, some people want to do it via partnership. I think it is mean when people failed only call him stupid. Business is either fail or succeed.

Perhaps, Uno may sound mean ...but I think it was more directed at Sinkees in general, rather at SWH.

he did not succeed,a one hit wonder gave him the illusion of success,reality is what sets in over the next 15 years when he dribbled away like a parkinsons patient,the cold hard reality that he was terrible at business and sucked bad.very few men in the world has the privilege of wasting 1 billion dollars.....can u imagine how hard it took for richard branson or li ka shing or sheldon adelson or any other entrepreneur to make their first billion dollars?to simply threw it away means he never earned it in the first,just a lucky fool who got terribly lucky and squandered a precious gift that heaven laid upon him,can u imagine how many people 1 billion dollar could have helped?he could have sponsored at least twenty thousand sinkies their university education.....no business man or entrepreneur could respect himself if they were sim wong hoo.
