What's the purpose of voting WP?

Does running a town council efficiently improve your lives or kick out PAP improve your lives?


Make your choice wisely.

Only stupid people like the 60% are enthralled with all these "Punch & Judy Show"...or locally "wayang". Without the WP winning so many constituents & hopefully the coming election more...SINGAPOREANS WOULD HAVE SUFFERED GRAVELY UNDER ALL THE OPPRESSION WITHOUT ANY RECOURSE.

Whether you are the 60% or the 40%, we have benefited from the revised policies over the last many years..if not, Transport costs, health costs, living costs, housing costs, jobs etc..would have "killed" more SINGAPOREANS.

Running a town council ensures less litter and maybe a few dollars cheaper fees, but running PAP out (not down) ensures even less litter (from less overpopulating foreigners) and savings of more than a few dollars for billing us expensively on things we don't benefit from.

So kick out PAP will be.

Use your common sense. The PAP was already checking the opposition since 1959 and even before any of them were elected to any seat.

Given its power, if it also did not check the opposition, then I worry.

The difference is that now both sides can check each other. In the past, with not even a seat, how could the opposition check anything?

There is never a level playing field b/w the pigs and WP.

Lets call a spade a spade, if the pigs does not lead the way by doing all the right things, don’t expect and demand that from the opposition!!
It is a national disgrace to see the elites doing all the wrong things and yet questioning others and wanting others to do thing right isn’t it!!!

Yeah looks like a good model with many people asking questions on various policies for the PM to answer. Spore no have similar session in parliament? If have, all those laws against people illegal gathering, protesting etc would not have been passed so easily.

Another purpose of voting WP is that you will stop hearing the government claim that they are doing this or that "for the benefit of residents or ordinary citizens".

If the WP government also claims that, at least you will be hearing it from different people.
