I am thrifty & keep an eye out for good prices. I try to avoid buying from sources that may provide fakes. Recently bought two Sandisk USB memory products from Amazon.

An extreme 64GB USB 3.0 for US$32.24 http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Extre...id=1449980984&sr=1-1&keywords=sandisk+extreme

A low profile SanDisk Ultra Fit CZ43 64GB USB 3.0 US$19.38 http://www.amazon.com/SanDisk-Ultra..._UL160_SR160,160_&refRID=1PEPJMF1PR54GV28E10M

I also picked up a 512GB Samsung 850 Pro SSD for US$209.99. That is about $150 cheaper than the prices in Spore.

All these products were unlikely to be fake as it was being sold by Amazon & not just a sale by a 3rd party merchant where Amazon is providing fulfillment services. I'm a prime member & ordered other products totaling more than US$135, so shipment was free to Spore.

Let me know if your SanDisk Ultra Fit has issues with Window 7.

It's predecessor, the Cruzer Fit has problems getting detected by Windows 7.

Let me know if your SanDisk Ultra Fit has issues with Window 7.....

I've plugged it into both Win 7.0 & Mac OS & in both the drive is recognised,

The problem with the Ultra Fit is that the plastic cover can be difficult to remove & there's no hole on it which I can connect to a string/keychain to prevent the cap from getting lost :(

I've read about how it can get very hot but I don't think this will be a problem since I will only be be using it as a backup
