What do you consider to be white elephants and vanity projects?

billion dollar garden,4.3 billion dollars for a 5km expressway,$500,000 per meter of highway???the chinese have build highways for thousands of kilometers for less than that,how much money went into cronies and friends pockets?thats not just white elephant,thats blatant corruption of national monies of the highest order!!!

ahahaha if only that is true,in that case china and america can simply stimulate their economies with excessive worthless white elephants and construction projects.china is already one trillion in debt from trying to boost their economy and create jobs from endless construction and infrastructure.

the creation of those white elephants have already enriched the cronies and friends,the money those infrastructure generates will enrich them even further!!!
