Dear TRS,
On Monday, an underground water pipe burst at Jurong West Central 1. The incident happened near Block 689 and water kept coming up from underground and flowing into the drain.
I feed backed to the town council but it took until Wednesday for them to send workers down. Water was shut off between 10am to 5pm on Wednesday to facilitate the repair but when I went down at 5pm, they were still digging.
They turned the water back on and water started to flow out and drip into the drain again.
I went down today again, about 6 days after the leak started, and found that the water was still flowing heavily into the drain.
I feed backed again to the town council but nothing has happened till now. The water is still being wasted at an alarming rate.

Why are the authorities not treating this with urgency? We pay so much for water yet they allow it to be wasted at such alarming rates for almost a week!
