Close shave: huge, 'bouncing' circular saw blade smashes into Chinese driver's truck

A man in western China had a lucky escape after he was driving along a road and the front of his pickup truck was hit by a massive circular saw blade.
The motorist was driving to Chongqing on Wednesday when he heard a bang come from the opposite lane of the road, the Chongqing Evening News reported.
The saw blade then bounced through bushes in the central reservation and smashed into the front of his vehicle.
The man said in a shaking voice that he stopped and found the blade had cut 50cm into the bonnet, the newspaper said.
Highway police said another truck had crashed in the opposite lane and the blade had been thrown off the vehicle and into the road.
The other driver was unaware that a saw blade had been thrown clear and caused an accident, the report said.
