TOC exists to give us an illusion of choice. don't be fooled by them, they've been vetted by the PAP and have been approved to serve up red herrings (like protesting over 1 cent fare hikes) to distract us from the real issues (like Temasek/GIC squandering of our CPF moneis - why do u think they need to amend the constitution to 'unlock' more money for 'social and economic spending)

If TOC were serious about offering an alternative view, then why not question the recent amendment to allow the gov to spend more of our capital reserves?? wasn't the increase in GST from 5 to 7% suppose to pay for social spending??

TOC will never dare to question the government on sensitive issues like the reserves, judiciary, political system etc.

It is merely a ploy to allow disaffected citizens to vent their frustrations while maintaining the PAP's hegemony.

Since when did TOC ever dare to criticize PAP directly ??
