Three students were charged in court on Saturday morning for the robbery of a 52-year-old woman in Tampines Street 82.
The accused-persons - a 19-year-old and two 20-year-olds, had apparently pushed the victim, who is a cleaner, to the ground before making off with her handbag at 2.40pm on Friday.
Two passers-by came to her aid when they heard her cries of help, and later gave a description of the suspects to the police.
The three students were arrested after the police searched the vicinity.
