The people in that part of the world (Jews, Arabs, Turks, Cypriots, Iranians/Persians) are all mixed breed mongrels, chup chengs. They are all Phoenician-Canaanites, if you bring back the timeline a bit further.

Neighbouring arab dictators and monarchs want Israel to finish off hamas. But on the ground, there is a enormous amount of sympathy for the people of Gaza. The balancing act between these two will determine if the arab leaders survive or not.Even the neighbouring countries Jordan and Egypt stopped the exodus of the palestinians into their countries.
