Moussa Sissoko is off to Spurs for £30m on a 5 year contract. What a waste of money.
Everton were very lucky.

Everton loaned youngster Brendan Galloway to West Brom. Brendan said that he hoped to improve on his defensive skills with a coach like Tony Pullis. Perhaps he didn't realise that his Everton Boss Ronald Koeman was one of the best defensive players in the world during his heyday.

Who is Mason Holgate? Do they play the same position? Why Galloway is being loaned out and not Holgate. I thought Galloway will force into the first team.

Both Holgate and Galloway are the same age, both bought from lower league clubs, both up and coming defenders. Everton probably thought that they could afford to loan out one of them and keep the other one as cover for their main defenders like Williams, Jagielka, etc despite having sold Stones to Man City.

Manchester City's Sergio Aguero banned for three games

sl3mFak5

Manchester City striker Sergio Aguero will miss the Manchester derby after being given a three-match ban for elbowing West Ham defender Winston Reid.

The Football Association found the Argentine guilty of violent conduct after he clashed with Reid in the 3-1 win at the Etihad on Aug. 28.

City failed in an appeal to get the decision overturned and he will now miss the game against Manchester United on Sept. 10 as well as the home clash with Bournemouth on Sept. 17 and EFL Cup tie at Swansea City four days later.

Aguero caught Reid in the neck with his elbow and the New Zealand international was treated on the pitch before being substituted.

Referee Andre Marriner said he and his fellow officials missed the incident during the match.

Although Andre Marriner missed the incident, Refs have been told by the Premier League to act tough on this kind of behaviour including the argy bargy which takes place at corners and set pieces.

Aguero's absence - especially in the Manchester derby is gonna hurt City real bad.

Yes, with Aguero playing, a Man City win is almost a sure thing. Without him, not so sure.

Who has the most to prove?

UEFA World Cup qualifying gets under way with muh to prove for some. Can Wayne Rooney and Sergio Ramos show they deserve their places? Will Roberto Martinez silence the boo-boys and get it right with Belgium?
