Starhub is no saint either. A few years ago, Starhub learnt of the impending cross carriage law thru a leak in IDA and proceed to sign exclusive contracts with many content providers. Many of these exclusive contracts are still in force today. They should not cry foul when they themselves do not play by the rules.

The only idiot is the IDA. Want to implement law to benefit consumers, but do a half past six job which result in more inconveniences.

No lah. SingTel's EPL's license is non-exclusive. Does cross-carriage requirement apply? Is there some clause in the EPL Agreement forbid that?

Like a lot of policies in SG, things are always done half-cocked and then based on complaints, they then adjust, amend and try to fix the problem.
This process is becoming SOP for our overpaid civil servants.
