US reviews military cooperation with Thailand after coup

BANGKOK: -- WASHINGTON, May 22, 2014 (AFP) - The United States said Thursday it was reconsidering military cooperation with Thailand after the army seized power.

"We've been reviewing our military-to-military assistance including the CARAT exercise," Pentagon spokesman Colonel Steven Warren said, referring to US-backed naval drills in the Pacific.

good brother, the military coup is just part of the power struggle. They don't really mess up the civilians' life, just that there are curfew in the initial period in some areas = no night life = tourism affected. The thai baht and stock market didn't crash (except thai govt bond).

It is as simple as yellow vs red vs military.
There are royalties and druglords involved in two of the above mentioned.
