Teens held for attempted robbery <!--10 min-->

TWO teenagers were arrested on Tuesday for attempted robbery. The incident took place at the lift of Block 30 of Holland Close at about 2am. One of the two youths attacked the female victim by grabbing her wrist and neck from behind, and demanding for money. The other merely watched. The youths let her go as she did not have any money. The victim later reported to the police. Officers from the Clementi Police Division quickly established one of the suspects' identities and arrested him at his home late on Tuesday evening. The second suspect was arrested later the same night after being implicated as an accomplice. The pair, aged 16 and 18 years, are believed to be involved in another case of snatch theft and robbery in Tiong Bahru and Holland Avenue They will be charged in Court on Thursday.
