A GROUP has set up a Facebook page to expose the alleged indecent acts of a Johor Baru-based tuition teacher. Nanyang Siang Pau reported yesterday that the teacher had been outraging the modesty of his students for more than 20 years. One of his relatives decided to expose his misdeeds to prevent the teacher from taking advantage of his own 15-year-old daughter.
The relative, who declined to be named, claimed that the teacher was a habitual offender. The relative added that it was common knowledge among locals that the teacher had been preying on his students for the past 20 years, but nothing could be done as there was lack of proof. The relative claimed that many of the teacher's victims did not report the matter to the police as they were ashamed.
The relative added that they decided to go on the Internet to spill the beans so the public would be wary of him. When contacted by the daily's reporter, the teacher did not deny the accusations. "Everyone would have committed wrong," he said, adding that the incidents were in the past and he was now awaiting trial on an oral sex charge.
