....What pisses me off is that chinese ppl are negatively stereotyped for no good reason or hated or lambasted for the silliest reasons. Like some whites hate chinese but they don't have any compelling reasons to. Like blacks rob, rape and contribute to high crime rates, chinese don't do that but do you know some whites hate chinese more and they'll use silly reasons like chinese guy didn't smile at him or looks mean as if that is an excuse to be racist. Then you pay attention it happens elsewhere like here in singapore where chinese postitive stereotypes are downplayed and never acknowledged for the good that they do. Give you an example. Ppl like to stereotype malays as nice ppl yet there are obviously rude and mean malays but ppl ignore that and just focus on nice malays. It's the opposite for chinese. PPl ignore nice chinese and forever stereotype them as mean, selfish. It's this type of mentality that needs to go.
I couldn't agree more about stereotyping. Now, please read your own post back ( especially the last line ) to the other guy in your brain, you schizophrenic, racist piece of shit!
Now before the other guy in your brain comes back to screw me, let me say that I'm Indian and proud to be one. As are Chinese, Malays etc. All of us got issues and peculiar traits relating to our ethnicity and we have to deal with this. All of us are racists to some extent but you take it to the extreme.
One last point, have the "two" of you ever wondered why Singaporean Indians and Singaporean Chinese and Singaporean Malays seem to be different from the originals from India, China and Malaysia? Based on the negative responses, we seem to be better. Why? Could it be that the living and mixing with our fellow Singaporeans of all races have helped us evolve into better species than the Chinese Chinese, Indian Indians and the Malaysian Malays...?
