Somewhere in the mix is a disowned son and battle for inheritance.
Another family fucked up by money and greed.

maybe we will see the same when the old fart dies, familee members fighting to split up the empire.maybe we will see pinky the clown execute his uncle tony for treason and lee hsien yang start a coup d etat to bring down the clown prince.

at this point im willing to have anyone besides the clown rule us.

Correct......

I am not aware of any such thing in the Tang Family. No son was disowned nor was there a battle for inheritance. CK Tang already divided up his empire before he died. The only fighting took place between the older son Wee Cheng and the 2 younger brothers Wee SUng and Wee Kit over who would run the crown jewel CK Tang emporium. The Older brother lost and ended up with Dynasty hotel at that time.

wealth seldom last for more than 3 generations....

They may not be as wealthy or wealth diluted, but they will still be very rich for generations after. Two examples: (ang moh): Rockefeller family, (sinkie) Lee Kong Chian clan.

And can still be fucking wealthy even after losing control of the family business, like the Yeos of Yeo Hiap Seng.

Conclusion: The royal Lee clan will still be uber-rich for tens of generations, long after losing power.
