Once upon a time, when Napster first came out, the recording industries raged and raved against piracy and used legal action to shut it down.

After that, came forth plenty of P2P file sharing software, all of which became the precursor to digital content downloads (e.g. Steam, iTunes, Netflix).

The middlemen are always made redundant as technology evolves. Legal action is the last refuge of the helpless. It achieves nothing and merely delays the inevitable.

also what happened to DRM on CDs //DVDs/etc. audio cd's stop using DRM, some DVD publisher have stoppedc using region codes, but computer software is still full of DRM in one for or another

The buffering part will kill all initial enthusiasm..... No boxes can give you smooth live streaming. It is always a case of "for this price, this quality is ok" or "for this price..... etc etc...", "no need subscribe ST and SH....... "

It is good for watching non-live videos/movies, you can let if buffer 5-10 mins first then play and all will be good. Otherwise live matches etc will be a bad experience. Then again, if you not watching live tv, all PCs can do good buffer and stream, no need buy android tv boxes.

If ban one internet box you have to ban all....even apple....think they will take it quietly?...i would support cable companies if they were reasonably priced...but streaming technologies allow things to be done at a far lower cost and at $10 a month for netflix it is a fuckin no brainer choice.

I watched the entire world cup...nearly every match on uk tv and cast it to my widescreen tv.....even the ads were better.....no fuckin andy and his whining about germany.
