Another senior staff, library officer, resigned to join a university library at higher pay n job level.
What is the problem with HR mgmt in the library? Extreme favourtism & other obnoxious culture resulting in only balls-carriers getting wrongly promoted. Somehow true blue Singaporeans are edged out. Take this library officer for example. He is eminently qualified for any higher level job in the library but hes has always get edged out when come to promotions - staff with lesser qualfication n experience gets promoted which is fine but how come FTs from Hong Kong, India even Indon FT (get hired over available inhouse candidates or Singaporean candidates with full expenses paid for study leading to a diploma ....!!).
Where is the proof of screwed up mgmt at SP Library? The incumbent was found unfit to be promoted in the crummy polytechnic BUT a prestigious local university interview & recruitment panel clearly found him good enough to nail a higher grade library job which was denied to him after decades of bypass.
Is SP Library anti Singaporean? It is clearly pro female & promotes Christianty - all directors of library (past 3 & present one are Christians ... not an accident of history)
