Some Singapore policemen really are monsters (hard core criminals themselves).

How come this policeman is so inhumane, immoral/ cruel?
Installing CCTV cameras at home to monitor the maid, abusing (starving for 10 months, suffocating (choking)) the hapless Myanmar maid till her death in their home (pronounced dead at scene by attending paramedic and doctor).
Most policemen are in force for lifelong career, at least those past 30 cos I believe that the police doesn't really welcome people who are changing careers, unless they were NS police officers before so probably the accused is with police force at least 15 years, yet he himself has little by way of respect for human dignity nor rights and is even accomplice to torturing a helpless maid to death, preventing her from seeking help by confiscating her handphone etc. (Probably psychopathic in mind set I think (judging by his actions in the press reports hence)).
How come SPF doesn't educate it's policemen about human dignity or human rights. Does the police view these values with contempt or disdain?
Think SPF really needs to check if their are sufficient role models and counsellors within the force to ensure that the regulars there are decent , disciplined and respectable people themselves.
