Pure speculation....the reason the siege has lasted so long is because the commandos are taking great care not to endanger the hostages' lives. Or else they wouldve gone in guns blazing and taken everyone out in 2 hrs. And to their credit they've managed to get many many hostages out alive. Unlike when the Russian army stormed the school being held by Chechen terrorists and pretty much got heaps of hostages killed in the ensuing botch-up.

Condolences! But for proper closure for those of us who grieved for her death, will need to know how and why she had to die. MFA said she is safe. Did she put herself in harm's way or was she dragged and killed to send a signal to the Mumbai government or was it she refuses to relay the message, that's why she was killed?
