Aircon is not a good thing if someone farts inside the bus.

Also, sometimes the aircon is either too cold or too weak.

Non-aircon bus rides were fun. Wind in your hair, fresh air constantly blowing inside the bus. Not a lot of traffic or urban areas back then, so air pollution was not a concern.

As a school boy I remember often standing on the steps of the open doorway. In those days there was only one doorway & it was both the entrance & exit. It was the best place to be as it was windy & sometimes the conductor would miss you & one would get a free ride.

In those days there were windows so it wasn't always hot & stuffy.

yes the non air con bus rocks,the last non air con buses were ran by transisland?still around in the early 2000s....when the bus got up to speed it was like being in a windtunnel.

The good side is that male passengers can rub bodies with female passengers without feeling guilty.....

And if driver jam brakes, penetration occurs.

Had bad experience the previous day. Entered lift when an Ah Neh cleaner made his exit. Chow chee bye, had to control all the way. Being a heavy smoker didnt help. Had I known, woud have taken the stairs or waited for other luft.
