Should Philip Jeyaretnam also join the RP found by his father?

Since his younger brother did. Shouldn't the elder brother also join?

I am happy for late JBJ that Kenneth already joined his Reform Party.

Like late JBJ, Philip is a big name lawyer, he should consider to follow his great father's path.

And on what basis should Philip follow his father's footstep?

Someone must remain working to help pay the legal costs of suits.

Later big brother kena $1M suit so philip can help pay right

My opinion is that the sons of Jeyaretnam should reflect on the reality in these lessons:
(1) how and why their father was sued by the PAP political leaders, notably Lee Kuan Yew

(2) why in his hour of need, LTK turned against him

(3) despite his perseverance and emergence out of 17 years of wilderness, he died as a newly-discharged bankrupt whilst LKY and LTK were successful in terms of financial wealth
And what if the pants were sued off Kenneth, will the leaders in the Reform Party turn against him?

The battle is not just against the PAP. It is also watching your own back in your own party.

Thus, after these considerations, Kenneth is keen to run, then he will be running intelligently, benefiting from the mistakes his father had made.

Not to repeat them.

Phillip, on the other hand, can remain as an outwardly neutral party.

There is no need to put all your eggs in one basket.

You do not understand how weak and helpless and desperate is LKY Regime if you assumed that they are still capable of those LEEgal suits.

Its funny how many r objecting towards LKY-LHL father son combo and yet you think that Philip should be like JBJ?

Contradiction indeed.

if philip joins the party then it is bro and bro combo since the father had already passed away.
