However Shanmugan never say such harsh words when 10 Singapore Prison Officers killed Dinesh in Jail.

10 officers who were on duty that fateful day are:
Deputy Superintendent of Prison Lim Kwo Yin Darius;
Deputy Superintendent of Prison Harry Yap Hong Hock;
Assistant Superintendent of Prison Teo Chong Lian Dylan;
Chief Warden Daljit Singh S/O Gurbachan Singh;
Chief Warden Rozairudin Bin Zaini;
Sergeant Yen Chia Hsien;
Sergeant Tan Heng Chye Marcus;
Sergeant Lee Fangwei Jonathan;
Corporal Anand Pereira; and
Corporal Robby Bin Sulaiman

Only Mr Lim Kwo Yin was fined with SGD10,000.

It's obvious that the auntie who got beaten up was a PAP supporter and the one who beat her was an opposition supporter that's why he so hot

is it because one is a more easy to "like " and pity character while the other isn't? easier to score points when people are with you?

I give you another scenario:
It is ok to gang up (in 10) and to beat up an inmate in Jail and only 1 of the 10 is fined SGD10,000.

It is a very serious crime and may involve Law minister if 1 person beat up another person outside the Jail.

so it is a question of inside or outside the jail and whether you beat people in gang

If the above report is true, then as the Law Minister, he should know better than to prejudice the case with such comments when the case is not heard in court yet. The abuser is very likely a psychiatric case who need rehabilitation not punishment. It's just playing to the gallery. And this has been the tactics of the PAP of late. They know they can't appease the public with policy changes and so the next best thing is to play with the people's emotions whenever such cases are involved. The recent church's dismissal of the pregnant lady is another example.

the bigger issue is why are psychiatric patients allowed to leave IMH and live on their own without supervision? if you get killed by a madman/madwoman, there is no justice for you.

Shouldnt psychiatric cases if really beyond hope be just treated as a criminal case? In ang mor lands bcos of such shit cases tat justice get perverted all the time.

the bigger issue is why are psychiatric patients allowed to leave IMH and live on their own without supervision? if you get killed by a madman/madwoman, there is no justice for you.
