[Sg video] - Whose fault? Car driver signals turning right, but other car ignores her continues on, then bang, both say it's the other driver's fault.

Doesn't mean you signal can turn/ change lane straight away. This kind of driver must be banned from driving forever before they kill any motorcyclists.

As a regular pedestrian, I notice two types: those who don't signal or signal at the very last moment, and those who signal far away from where they are about to turn.

You can't legislate for such things, you can only deduce that the driver has some form of mental illness.

It seems that she signaled at the very last second which gave the other driver no time whatsoever to react.

Probably that time of the month or fantasizing about a kdrama episode's oppa, that reduces response time and dexterity.

"I thought you are going to stop already...."

You think, I thought, who confirm? It is precisely this kind of dangerous assumption that causes unnecessary traffic accidents. And also, this is further evidence that women should not be allowed to drive on the roads.

TP should suspend her licence as she clearly does not understand the intent of traffic rules and how they're applied.

As it is, she is a hazard and will kill someone.

many drivers get their signaling wrong. check mirrors and blind spot first, and when it’s safe to turn or change lanes, signal then turn or change lanes. only time you signal ahead of a turning or lane change is when roads are congested and traffic is braking and moving very slowly. when traffic is moving quickly, do not signal, then check mirrors and blind spot before turning or changing lanes (because on freeways and sexpressways other vehicles are zipping by so fast and will react to your signal one way or another, sometimes braking hard which cause rear-ending). worst drivers are those who simply signal and turn or change lanes without checking mirrors or blind spot.

Mat yoyo at fault for driving too fast and following too closely and overtaking at a right turning juncture.
No debate whatsoever.
all thru’ traffic has first right of way despite “gunning”. turning car must give way even if signal light is on. signal light is a courtesy gadget, not a mandatory compliance gadget. onus is on turning driver to check and wait for a safe turn.

Not sure what you mean.
Actually this is a very unusual road design, with just a single lane, and vehicle can do a right turn at a yellow box, which means vehicles behind have to get ready for a stop whenever the car in front intends to do a right turn.
By right should be 2 lane then left lane can still be used for a smoother flow, while right lane is used for straight ahead and right turn.

When the lady wanted to do the right turn, she likely already have to slow down, but mat yoyo still Chiong so fast.

That Malay driver is asking for trouble. He cannot overtake at a T-junction unless the cam car is stationary. What's more it's only a single lane road. The Highway Code doesn't teach you to drive like that.

The Mat over take via the opposite direction lane… and the speed he is driving definitely exceed the normal speed limit of 60…..

For me I will just report police and show the police my car cam footage… no need to talk to the Mat Yo Yo
Ask the other car for cam footage

Reduce speed first
Trigger the turning signal for 3sec
Then check the blind spot and side mirror
Turn when traffic is clear
