Absolutely right 2 weeks of "Basic Training" + 2 weeks of Qualification and Advanced training - a joke really.
And yes and she is a Volunteer! No PFC or Lance Corporal ranks in the SAF Volunteer Corp
Ranks there are SV -SV5 - what that means exactly is not even known - and No-one gets saluted except commissioned officers who are posted there from the SAF to run things.
All U need to know about this is here:
