I had one Indian national snap her fingers at me and insist I check the app for when the bus was arriving - I was so taken aback I did it, and then she stomped away. I have always tried to be polite to Indians here because as a local Indian myself I find the commentary around them often leaning into straight-up racism, but holy shit she was beyond the pale. I will have no such patience in future. I don’t think I have ever been spoken to this way in my life, so it was truly a shock to me.
