its the people who make a city a good/bad place to live in. in the top 10 list, Canadians and Aussies dominate.

the best district to live in in Singapore would be pulau ubin.

But these cities are not run by the PAP as well. How do you explain that? Could it just be Auckland hasn't caught up with the other cities above it?

The standard of Char Kwey Teow in these cities that good meh? Ang moh where know how to char kwey teow? Able to match Peesai's standard or not? Don't know about Oz, but the char kwey teow in Toronto and Vancouver really no fight with Peesai's! The listing was wrongly made up by biased people who do not know the finer side of dining!

..surveys are fraud with skews and misrepresentations. the target audience is ang mo, and people who are surveyed are mostly ang mo's. obviously, they have biases from the get go. right off the bat, the humidity and heat in sg will be bugbears for these temperate-climate, fair-weathered world travelers.

Fair comment on non-acclimitisation of prickly heat places. Excludes their winter escapades in some exotic hot places or beaches. Worse off the mark, if survey was extended to include new style boat people:p

No "sinkies" refers to the proletariat. The PAP is the politburo which is a different class altogether. The politburo do not display any of the flaws of the proletariat. They are in a class of their own.
