SINGAPORE - An estimated 50,000 units of assorted sexual enhancement drugs were seized during a joint operation by the Health Sciences Authority (HSA) and the Immigration & Checkpoints Authority (ICA) on Tuesday (Aug 18).
The drugs have an approximate street value of more than $150,000 and were intended for resale, the two agencies said in a joint statement.
Officers raided a storage facility in Geylang after a 23-year-old Chinese national was seen carrying a parcel containing the drugs into the unit. The man is currently assisting in the investigations.

Sexual enhancement drugs often contain undeclared potent medicinal ingredients and other substances controlled under the Poisons Act, and it is an offence to import, sell or possess for sale such products.
Those found guilty of an offence under the Poisons Act could face imprisonment for up to two years and/or a fine of up to $10,000.
