Oh, u mean these are exceptional circumstances huh.........................

After this incident our National Taxi Association should propose to

LTA to banned ALL the following persons from taking / booking


any type of Taxi in Singapore :


a ) all those who are suffering depression

b ) all those who have or have had any form of mental condition
( 1 in 5 rite ? )

c ) all those who have famous god-aunty/uncle etc

d ) all those who have marital problem or recently divorce

e ) all those who can afford Subbas Anandan

f ) all those who are single parent especially with young children

g ) all who never read LTA guide on how to use a taxi

h ) all who insist that it is still MANDATORY for all taxi
drivers to help them with their luggages .

i ) all who still believe that COMFORTDELGRO taxi company
DO NOT have Voice Recording Devices in all its taxi.



For the safety of all cab drivers all the above should be banned from

taking a taxi in singapore

Man jailed for hitting and hurling objects at taxi

After hitting a taxi with PVC pipes for coming too close to him, a 36-year-old man went on to hurl rubbish bins, a flower pot and a metal drain cover at the vehicle. For his actions, Ali Houdini was sentenced to six weeks' jail and fined $2,000.


Ali was walking along Lorong 6 Geylang in the early hours of Aug 21, when he felt that ComfortDelGro cabby Tan Wee Ping had driven very close to him while letting a passenger alight.

Ali opened the taxi door and, during an argument, threw two punches to the face of the 48-year-old cabby, who called the police. Ali also hit the side of the taxi with PVC pipes a few times.

When Mr Tan followed Ali, the latter threw a rubbish bin at the back of the vehicle. Along a small lane, Ali picked another bin and threw it at the taxi. He also threw a flower pot and a small drain cover at the cab.

DEPUTY public prosecutor Eunice Chong had to step in several times to clarify MediaCorp TV host Quan Yifeng's mitigation plea.

Quan had earlier pleaded guilty to committing mischief in her dispute with taxi driver Chan Swee Kong.

The 19-page mitigation plea on her actions, including pulling out a taxi meter, was read out by her lawyer, Mr Subhas Anandan.

This is getting ridiculous. What special circumstances. I could find none. Most cabbies don't help with bags anyway. Only at the airport they do that because of force of habit when the airport authorities first applied it. The damage and her conduct were beyond control.

First World Taxi drivers don't carry bags.
