SDP announces the Bukit Batok Town Council Transition Team

The mission of the Bukit Batok Town Council Transition Team is to ensure the smooth transfer of the Town Council from its predecessor. Drawing on their respective expertise, the Team will oversee the hiring of key professionals as well as monitor the progress and deadlines as stated in the SDP Town Council Plan. Some crucial milestones include:

• The taking over of the physical office
  ​
• Balance Sheet as of cut-off (cash/bank balances/assets and liabilities)​
• Balances of management funds, sinking funds, levies​
• Accounts receivables and their age​
• Accounts payables​
• Historical government grants by the mix and composition of housing and flat types​
• Existing contracts for estate management​
• Databases​

Wong Hong Koon is a highly qualified and experienced Chartered Accountant in private practice. Mr Wong has held several positions and has worked as a financial analyst and accountant with Qantas Airways' Head Office in Sydney, Australia. He has worked with Dr Tan Cheng Bock at the Citizens' Consultative Committee (CCC) at Ayer Rajah and Mr Goh Chok Tong at the CCC and Residents' Committee (RC) at Marine Parade.

Yeo Yeu Yong is the CEO and Chairman of Primech Services International Ltd, an international facilities management, property development and construction company. He is also the Chairman of Advance Environmental Services and Engineering Pte Ltd and AESE Real Estate Pte Ltd. Mr Yeo’s career journey started as a maintenance supervisor with Jurong Town Corporation in the 70’s. His experience included the managing of a Building Construction Authority registered company that provided estate management services to Town Councils such as Redhill (now Tanjong Pagar), Sembawang, Bishan-Toa Payoh, Marine Parade, Tampines, East Coast, Jalan Besar, Pasir Ris-Ponggol, Aljunied, Ang Mo Kio, Brickworks and Clementi-West Coast.

K. Siva Sankaran is the Owner and Director of East West Supplies Pte Ltd. For 20 years, the company traded in building materials, metals and textiles. Mr Siva experience included internal auditing at PSA, accounting and later as the General Manager of a large international trading firm for 17 years prior to starting his own business.

Peter Cuthbert Low is the founder and Managing Director of Peter Low LLC, and a past President of the Law Society of Singapore. Mr Low has 37 years of experience in civil, criminal and family litigation. Besides legal work, Mr Low believes in giving back to society. His work with MARUAH as a founding member is one of his many gifts to the community.

It is hard to support a party like PAP when MP treats MPS as sexual tryst for wives of unsuspecting members.
It gives Volunteerism a bad image especially when MPs are taking advantage of female volunteers to satisfy their sexual lust.
