Where is Prigozhin & his well armed 27,000 troops now?
In war, nothing can be assumed or presumed. Only facts & acting upon facts can success be achieved.
For reasons only known to mainstream media, RUS & Intel agencies, they know but are not telling. It's not difficult to figure out by anyone sane.
The mercenary unit is mobile & was within 2hrs to Moscow before turning back after a deal was reach.
If Belarus was the promised land for their survival, they would had long arrived.
In reality, the cautious group is somewhere hiding in southern RUS border, scattered in defensive positions but within reach should one unit be attacked, considering its options in the meantime

2. It had been reported that PrezPutin will take over the Wagner group. If so, there would be a huge staff turnover within the org, from HQ to its regional offices. Prigozhin would have ensured only those loyal to him, known to him for years, would be promoted, & for sure after the rebellion, PrezPutin would NOT want those in mgmt loyal to Prigozhin to be around - from the CFO, accountants, legal team right down to even office clerks. Such would be clues to IF PrezPutin had taken over.
3. The Wagner group works just like any other Multi-National Corporation, with Hierarchy Structures in management, & at the top, the one who 'signs' the cheques for salaries or compensation is Prigozhin. Only he has the official 'signature' or any other 'verification codes' to authorize the release of such funds. Should he be dead, NO funds will be release by banks, even RUS banks, & for sure, his 'double' will never know such codes.
Signature & authorization for release of bank funds can be over-ridden for National Security purposes, furthermore, RUS under the current govt is far from being an exact Rule of Law nation. Worse, should PrezPutin had taken over the Wagner group, such funds for that org will come directly from the RUS budget.
Although its parliament - the Duma - is nothing more than a rubber stamping legislative, PrezPutin close advisors will balk at the huge funds spent for the Wagner group, more so when the RUS economy is close to collapse. If they had agreed to such expenses, the RUS govt would had offered the SAME deal long ago to the mercenaries, which both the mercenaries & the RUS govt disagreed that was a major cause of the rebellion.
The point is - is Prigozhin alive today or dead? Only thru meticulous research, shifting thru clues, will one knows at least within a few weeks. Regardless if Prigozhin is dead or alive, another will take his place, to rule over barbaric savage mercenaries, which is 'playing with fire', that the gulf nations fortunately realized not too late. with ISIS.
The RUS govt is in a mess right now. The brutal UKR invasion by RUS had failed by its failure to conquer UKR within 3 mths. With such delusions that it can still win victory, came the consequences in socio-economic & military disorder. Воскресным днем на кладбище хмурые рабочие занимаются благоустройством могил. Вместо деревянных крестов с табличками на месте захоронений устанавливают серые гранитные надгробия в виде пирамид, похожие на противотанковые надолбы, известные как «зубы дракона». На каждом из них — имена, фамилии, даты рождения и смерти, а также символика ЧВК «Вагнер». Из-за благоустройства одного из секторов часть венков с символикой ЧВК, которые раньше были на могилах, убрали и свалили в кучу в дальнем углу.
