This despite knowing very well that in this region, sincere co-operation, collaboration and aid to our neighbours without exploiting them is the best guarantee of peace, and that we'd never win any war in the region. We have seen deteriorating law and order in recent years, owing to the mass influx of foreigners, rising income inequality, gambling related crime, and growing poverty.

Instead of beefing up homeland security, cutting defence spending and transferring funds to healthcare and poverty alleviation, we now want to trim our police force.

In any case, the "top secret credible information" we have been "honoured" to receive is that the force will only be trimmed by max 10%, so nothing to worry too much about.

A spade for a spade, our SPF is well trained...efficient...PROFICIENT that is another matter!!. Only good for arresting opposition members...they have let us down so many times...& yet, they are thanked for their restrain....with confectionery.
