Man robbed at gunpoint along Woodlands bike path

An 18-year-old male reported he was robbed at gunpoint around 10:46 p.m. Thursday along a big path in The Woodlands.

He claimed three black males accosted him at East Brookberry Court and Fallshire Drive, taking his wallet and cell phone. One of the assailants brandished a handgun.

The perpetrators ran, and the victim went home and notified law enforcement. The victim was not injured.

The assailants were in their late teens or early 20s and wore “hoodies” over their head.

Suspects sought in bike path robbery

Montgomery County Sheriff's deputies are looking for three suspects involved in an armed-robbery Thursday night along a bike path in The Woodlands.

Deputies were dispatched around 10:46 p.m. Thursday to a robbery that occurred on the bike paths in The Woodlands.

The victim, an 18-year-old male, told deputies three black males robbed him at gunpoint on the bike path near East Brookberry Court and Fallshire Drive. One suspect had a handgun, according to a sheriff's office release.

The victim’s cell phone and wallet were stolen.

When the suspects ran off the victim went home and notified law enforcement. The victim was not injured.

Converging law enforcement officers were not able to locate the suspects.

The suspects are described as black males in their late teens or early twenties. Each suspect wore a “hoodie” over their head.
