At around 5am early morning on September 14th, a high school girl gave birth to a baby girl in the restroom of her high school dorm in Linyi, Shandong province, China.
The newborn’s head was stuck inside the toilet, giving out a weak cry.
The rescuers found the baby covered with toilet paper and stuck in the pipe in an obvious attempt to flush her down.
Rescuers cleared the toilet paper and piped in oxygen to aid her breathing, while others cut open the waste pipe from the floor below.
After three hours, the baby was safely rescued. The infant is now under observation at the local hospital.
