If the PAP needed to hear its citizens and what they felt all they had to do, the lost of Aljunied GRC would be a good place to start. If this episode was not heard by the PAP, a second event should have made the message crystal clear. It was one year and 21 days later the residents of Hougang.

Don't rule out the 60%. A number of them were giving PAP the last chance in 2011, just like a number of the 40% gave PAP the last chance in 2006.

Many PRs are PAP base but too bad they don't want to take up citizenship.

There is no such thing as perfect Mandarin. There are so many different varieties of Mandarin. Beijing Mandarin, Standard Mandarin, Taiwanese Mandarin and Singapore Mandarin, even spoken with the best tongue, all sound slightly different and in some cases very different.
