There is nothing confusing whatsoever.
Most verses that kuffar cite always , without fail, involve the pronouns they or you.
Unless you know specifically who they or you refers to, you would not understand the passage.
Therefore, in order to understand the passage you would need to read the context.
Nothing too discomforting in there.
Only ignoramuses, or charlatans, believe that Bible which is not even intact in its original language is akin to the truth in any way shape or form.
Not even intact in the same language, and with thousands of different versions in circulation, with made up verses as the authors went along.
