SINGAPORE: Singapore has urged North Korea to desist from further provocative actions and integrate in the region for peace and prosperity.
In a statement in response to North Korea’s nuclear test on Tuesday, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that it was gravely concerned with North Korea’s nuclear test, describing it as a clear breach of the relevant UN Security Council resolutions and an outrageous act of defiance against the entire international community.
The test did not enhance North Korea’s own security and threatened to destabilise the entire region including North Korea itself, the statement said.
“We call upon North Korea to desist from further provocative actions. It is our hope that North Korea will change course and integrate itself into the region. Only then can North Korea share in our region’s peace and prosperity”, the ministry said.
The ministry will make its views known to North Korea through its ambassador in Singapore. – Bernama

Last year, before the Death of the Dear Leader s/o The Great Leader and Father of the Fearless Leader, the younger brother of the Fearless Leader was seen enjoying himself with his entourage in Sentosa.

These Kims with fantastic titles love Singapore. I am sure some MFA officer would have received these visitor from that reclusive country.

NK passport holders are ban from having singapore bank accounts and credit cards. MAS bow to pressure from the us state dept. In the past, can see NKs at uob main branch regularly. Now no more.

Few years back when I was driving at Joo Chiat Place, I saw this North Korea state flag at this 3 storey detached home.. Only then did I later found out that it was the official residence of the North Korean Ambassador..
