I was at another forum and quite a number of poly holders revealed that their starting pay is between $1.4k to $1.8k.
I do not believe their pay is so low, are they kidding or what? Any reference on the internet to find out? Thanks

$1.4K is very good oredi. There is one NYP graduate attaching to my team this month. She got this contract job through employment agency and has to giving part of her salary to the agency and so her take home is only $900. Some more got no cpf or any allowances except free meal on duty.
The PRC mei mei servers in our department are having take home pay of $1.8K.
The pay now is the same as 10 years ago when i graduated from poly, 1.4k to 1.8k... yep.. that is accurate. My sister who graduate two years ago, had her starting pay at that time @ 1.3k
wow lan ooi..
when i graduated in the early 1990s, my starting pay is 1.6k.
now 20+ years later it is still the same wtf is the 'progress' MIW is talking about. :oIo::oIo:
I concur with this as well, when I graduated in 93 from NP, the starting was only 1.4K to 1.5K (General Degree grads get abt 1.7-1.8K). Wow, salary has not increased in this respect but inflation def has!! How to survive in terms of such "real income" ?!
