How often is the government required to report population figures? Every 3/6/12 months?
If they aren't obliged to report the figures at regular and close enough intervals, it is hard for the public to monitor the situation before it gets way out of hand.

The Department of Statistics will keep tabs on the total population.

What I'm concerned is it likes to use the term 'Singapore residents', lumping the blue and pink ICs together. We may never know the actual numbers of each category.

the population increase began in the 90s and got worse in the 2000+++....now its 2013,,and the noise is being made,,,but how come during that time,,ppl still so happy vote for PAP??
