A Singapore candidate running for a seat in the Australian state election?

This is a slap in the face for Wooden Goh and his Quitter trademark.

Too bad I am not living in the North Metro region, but I will support him & his Family First party.

The migrant forum should be proud that it is not just Malaysians who can be successful & run in Australian politics!

She is one tough lesbo
Still speak fondly of her close brother who committed suicide over depression. But that is her private life.

It is equally tough to live a straight life when the alternatives are so attractive. I have no answers for those people. Too complicated, they are on their own. Eg If they replace God with Meth, and grow Cannabis plants instead of roses, it is their decisions.

Mr Heng will need to deal with these sort of tough questions from voters as well.

Just like a pretty angmo girl with brain & beauty I know. After moving back to Perth, she was found with a Sydney-made body tattoo (of her and her now ex lover - name and everything etched perm) down her side, is too much. Imagine her current bf bonking her and get a reminder of her ex everytime she strip. Hahaha

Continue from prev post.

At least Mr Heng made the decision to stand for Family First. Their time-tested values & polities are more sustainable in the modern world.

As a migrant, family, hardwork and play smart will make a difference between success and failure.

I have nothing against FF. but wat piss me off is labour n liberal like to use 'working families' but all they do is support trailer park trash n single moms which are nothing bur burdens to society. Also wat about working class singles? They get taxed most n have few benefit. Talk about discrimination.

Both Labor & Lib are winding back welfare for single moms, etc. They are realising that it is becoming unaffordable.

I thought FF platform is more realistic. Isn't this what you are referring to.

Eg

Family First supports

  • policies and programs that strengthen the capacity of families to care for their dependents and contribute to their communities rather than promoting a reliance on government services.
  • important initiatives that enable families to become both socially and economically self-reliant; such as homeownership, adult education, vocational training, employment and health.

recognises that while workplace regulations seek to protect the interests of those at work, they obstruct the unskilled and least able from obtaining work. Family First believes that such regulations are not only bad for the economy but are also morally wrong.

aims to increase employment by removing workplace regulations and Awards that price unskilled people out of the job market. Such policy is aimed at combating the welfare reliance of Australians (20% of working age Australians, a total of 2.6 million people, are reliant on welfare benefits as their primary source of income).

Family First's policies also protect the right of employees and employers to determine what is in their common interests, and support the freedom of those who choose to work differently by moving out of the regulated world of 'traditional employment'. (refers to unions)

believes that if the Australian tax system is to offer incentives to be productive, to expand activities, to shift people from welfare to work, to pay tax and invest in the future, then it must be simpler, flatter, low and, in the eyes of taxpayers, a fair and reasonable system.

believes that the Australian Tax Act, which runs to over 10,000 pages is far too complicated and should be simplified.

believes that individual Australians and Australian companies can spend a dollar far more effectively and efficiently than the government.

believes that diverting entrepreneurial energy into tax minimization schemes is a most unproductive use of entrepreneurship.

believes that a 20/20/20 tax system ($20,000 tax-free threshold, 20% flat income tax and 20% flat company tax), would create dynamic changes in economic activity and human behaviour, the result of which would be a substantial expansion of the Australian economy, productivity and investment, and would substantially reduce the size of government.

places a high value on marriage as the commitment which forms a foundation for the development of stable and nurturing families.

oppose any legislation it considers will harm or diminish the institution of marriage and will support programs, activities and initiatives that seek to strengthen and promote the benefits to society and individuals of strong healthy marriages.

marriage is exclusively between a man and a woman.

I am against a flat tax as they benefit the rich. This FF looks like liberal party. Want flat tax and make it easier to sack people. As if in oz its soo hard to sack ppl like tat. What is needed is less tax on the working class. Not the rich. But some points by ff is good. Thanks for the post ned

IMHO

1. Have you worked in the place where it is impossible to sack people? I worked there for a few years and I can tell you what they are doing.

NOTHING !!!
Everyday, play politics and surf porn.
And they cannot do anything right. Project cannot move and they employ contractors to get things moving. They love playing the blame game when things go wrong.

Also, they expect 5-star services, so it is not difficult to get them to cough out say ... $100,000 to fix a $2000 air-con which they said is broken, but actually, because they set the mode to heating and not cooling.

When the dept close down, they are sent to re-deployment centres where they watch TV and read newspaper while on FULL pay. At the same time, they are too lazy to go for job interviews even when they get priority on getting re-employed.

So, I saw the opportunity to sideline as contractor and charge them a fortune. They gladly pay up because the money is there. All taxpayers/ratepayers/... money. They don't care.

2. Flat tax is good for administration and cost less. Some ex USSR countries reported gain in tax receipt and less tax evasion, after switching to this system.
Those poor/old people will get tax relief in other ways such as housing, food, living expenses subsidies, but they still need to pay the same flat tax. Good for everyone. No one can avoid tax and the needy get their tax payment back in other way.

It is just a way to simplify tax collection so that the RICH actually pay their tax and not do some creative accounting.

Look at it like GST.

He has to be an Australian citizen to stand as a candidate. So, he will not qualify for Singapore...

Henry may hold dual citizenship??

Holding multiple citizenship is legal in Australia. Moreover, Henry stand to gain financially by taking part in OZ elections.

Also, I was only an OZ PR when working in OZ govt.

There were more important things to do then be petty over citizenship privileges.

I was labelled a Quitter. I wonder where are those clowns who made sure quitters like me are treated like outsiders. See what happened to Singapore, now overrun with foreigners until MRT breakdown!

If Henry holds dual citizenship, good for him, but the prostitute times will expose him if he run for opposition.

The problem also lies with Singapore's PAP government. Whether you belong to the elites or "others". Everything elites can do is state secrets.

Notice how the PAP govt is realizing that making the "others" happy by deploying cheap labour is no longer the solution, but the 6.9 million question is how to get "others" off the cheap labour addiction. Ouch!

You can refer to this WA website (not the whole Austalia). Basically, until 1995, Australia, like western Europe, has a generous pension plan.

For simplicity, some people just say 75% to 90% of your last pay is the what you get as pension benefits.

But this is the actual formula.

Service Multiple = (Completed Months of Service ÷ 12 ) x 20% x (Average Contribution Rate ÷ 5)

Service Multiple x Final Remuneration = Final benefit

http://www.gesb.com.au/cps/rde/xchg...dstatesuper.html?rdeCOQ=SID-5C02FB62-6A3C1063

Under the pension reform over the years, this has changed from defined benefits to accumulation (like CPF)

https://www.moneysmart.gov.au/super...-a-super-fund/types-of-super-funds#difference

FUTURE FUND
http://www.futurefund.gov.au/

he purpose of the fund is to meet the government's future liabilities for the payment of superannuation to retired civil servants of the Australian Public Service. The fund's investment decisions are made at arm's length from the executive.
