Wa, what prompted the government to issue this new rule? No wonder TT's photo keep appearing in ST even in the sports section!

A4 size photos of presidential candidates will be mailed to all eligible voters so that voters may pin them up on the wall to see who possess the presidential look. They are encouraged to pose with each of the life-size portraits in front of the mirror to decide on the candidate they prefer to be photographed with during their future visit to the Istana. This is important as the elected President will be the most photographed person in the next six years!

Just overheard conversation on photo for ballot paper and thought it is kind of funny.

A : Why GE no photo, PE has photo one?

B : They put photo because they scare those old man old woman don't know which box belongs to TT

A : But they did it "correctly" at GE what?

B : PE is different. How to recognise who is who? Only ang mo di on the ballot paper. There is no lightning sign you know.

A : Then .. look for surname TAN lah

B : Cannot, all the surnames are TANs

A : Oh so PE must put photo in ballot paper to recognise. Like that what happens if all the other candidate also submit photo with hair dye white and combed backwards like a poa, put on black frame glasses, use thick thick hair cream, ... then how to recognise?

B : That is why they are now busy coming out with new guidelines for the photo. Must be same same as past photos without changes especially to the hairstyle....
