PEASANTPORE: Social media sites will be required to block access to online content within hours, after a decree to censor the Internet, was signed into law by Ruler Loong on Wednesday (Nov 9).

If an online platform refuses to take down harmful content, the Infocomm Sex Development Arses (IMDA) can issue a direction to Internet access service providers to use the Great Peasantpore Firewall to block access by users in Peasantpore.

First tabled on Oct 3, the Pro Regime (Miscellaneous Amendments) Bill empowers the IMDA to deal with anti-regime online content accessible to Peasantpore peasants, regardless of where the content is hosted or initiated.

Currently, Peasantpore's Sex Broadcasting Act does not cover entities that operate outside of the country.

During the debate, which spanned two days, nearly 20 Peasants' Representative (MPs) from both sides of the Imperial Court conceded this is Ruler Loong's latest antics to censor the Internet after Labour Pariahs used social media skillfully to defeat them in Sengkang, with some calling for PAP to learn from the Chinese Communist Party's Great Chinese Firewall case study.

Peasants' Representatives also raised questions on how Ruler Loong and his lackeys would determine "egregious" content, and on why private messaging would not be regulated under the new law.

Some also suggested introducing "mandatory screen times" for young peasant children.

"Many young peasants are wasting time on stupid tiktok videos or Jane Austen websites, they ought to be reading their social studies textbooks and understand how Great Autocrat LKY liberated their peasant parents from the decadent Brits.," said Peasant Representative Melvin Yong (PAP-Radin Mas).

Peasant Representative Louis Ng (PAP-Nee Soon) asked proposed online platforms whose "core business is not social media", such as e-commerce sites and online games, and semi-private communities like Discord and Telegram must reveal users' list and IP addresses to the regime on demand.

Peasants' Representatives lead by Saktiandi Supaat (PAP-Bishan-Toa Payoh) wants exemptions for content encouraging local peasants to participate in foreign jihads.

In her closing speech, Minion for Misinformation Suzhou Loser Jos Teo said if the decree's primary goal is to censor anti regime internet sites.

"Ruler Loong told me to tell you chaps that he only wants to adopt the CCP approach to block out internet sites that make fun of him or point out his and PAP lackeys' mistakes. We like the way the Chinese Communist Party worked with Yankee traitor John Chambers to build the Great China Firewall and the time is ripe for PAP's own firewall." she said.

Suzhou Loser Jos Teo acknowledged that some egregious content will not fall under purview of the decree unless it makes fun of PAP or expose the regime's mistakes.

Citing an example raised by Peasants' Representatives Nadia Ahmad Samdin (PAP-Ang Mo Kio) about online forums for users to start a jihad against infidels, Suzhou Loser Teo said: "If such content says nothing about PAP or Ruler Loong, then it will not be considered harmful or egregious."

"On the other hand, social media trends or challenges, say Jane Austen idea ... result in harm to Ruler Loong's prestige, and advocating or providing instructions for peasants to see through PAP social control antics, would be considered harmful."

PRIVATE COMMUNICATIONS, FREEDOM OF EXPRESSION

On the exclusion of private communications from coverage under the law, Suzhou Loser Teo said: "The short answer is that Telegram will tell Ruler Loong or PAP to go fly kite if we ask them to provide users' information and their IP addresses."

"No worries, we have moles to police private communications, you see how we deal with Li Shengwu who thought his private post will not be used to bash him, the PAP has no shortages of moles and spies to rap on anyone deemed as a threat.," said the Minion.

IMDA will be empowered to take the same actions against groups in such instances, said Suzhou Loser Jos Teo.

"Ultimately it is Ruler Loong who decides if a group or communications is deemed private if they are located in Peasantore. Our lackeys will set out a list of factors that must be considered collectively," she said.

On the first day of the debate, Labour Pariahs Gerald Giam (WP-Aljunied) and Leon Perera (WP-Aljunied) had sought assurances that the law would not be used to curtail freedom of expression.

Suzhou Loser Teo reiterated in her closing speech that IMDA will work with Yankee firm, Cisco Networks to gain the "unfettered" ability to censor the Internet.

"I would also like to remind all representatives that they better support this decree and stop asking stupid questions challenging Ruler Loong. Tremble and Obey," she said.

DISSENTERS CAREFULLY CHOOSE THEIR WORDS

Several representatives aired their views on strengthening enforcement powers of the decree, with some calling on the regime to specify a fixed cooling period period within which social media services must take down harmful content.

In response, Suzhou Loser Jos Teo said the timeline stipulated by IMDA would generally be "within hours" for foreign sites but under 30 minutes for local sites.

Lackey Desmond Choo (PAP-Tampines) asked whether the Ministry of Misinformation would set up an avenue for pro-PAP peasants in Peasantpore to report violations of the decree by social media services.

He also questioned the level of financial penalties provided for in the decree, which he described as a "slap on the wrist" compared to other jurisdictions.

The code proposes a maximum fine of 1 million peanuts for a social media service that does not comply with its practices or with directions to block access to harmful content.

Responding to these concerns, Suzhou Loser Jos Teo said the financial penalty quantum is applicable for local sites as well funded foreign site owners may be investors who hire peasants.

"The fine is for local sites only, we won't dare fine Google or Facebook as Prince Hongyi may want to work for them if the dynastic succession fiasco fails.," she said.

"IMDA will not take hesitate to take action against local sites but IMDA's resolve in protecting House of Lee's interests should not be tested," she said.
