He probably should, but it would appear that he cares for Singapore and its people more than most sinkies. Most importantly, he has the courage, unlike some former pap scholars and civil servants who gossip and talk big only. Well done Dr Chee!

Perhaps David was apologising for not going through with the upgrading, and not so much for the piaking. He enjoyed the piaking and has no regrets.
