They increase and increase their salary and laterally they increase and increase the age whereby we ordinary citizens can withraw OUR own blood and sweat CPF money !!

The withdrawal age has remained at 55. There has been no change at all. Only a small sum needs to be retained for those who have not been financially disciplined enough to accumulate more than the minimum sum after 4 decades of work. You can't blame the PAP for that. It is the fault of the individual.

There's no need for mobility in the nordic countries because a bus driver and an engineer earn almost the same salary so moving up in society is easy.

In countries such as brazil, it takes more effort which ensures that only the deserving are rewarded.

Don't you read? I have explained in previous posts on this thread how the tax dollars are being used. If you need to pay out of pocket for these services/insurance - if they are even available for purchase - it would cost a bomb.

For your sake, I shall repeat again.

The taxes go to fund (1) health care - you pay nothing when using the service, includes medicine; (2) child care (3) education - from kinder to university (4) unemployment insurance - paying 90 percent of salary for 2 years and (5) pension.

That's why the Danes are the happiest people in the world. They can focus on living life instead of worrying about this and that.

Why bother getting into a rat race when you can live a care-free life by paying taxes? Middle-class lifestyle is attainable for all if the government plays a role.
