Paedophile jailed for five years
A 32-year-old manager in Hong Kong has been jailed five years for threatening and outraging the modesty of an underaged girl. The man got to know the girl, who was only 12 then, through the Internet seven years ago. He had always asked the girl about her sex experience but she ignored his questions.
Later, he asked the girl for a nude photo of her. After much pestering, she gave him one after he promised not to show anyone. Then, both of them stopped contacting for a while. When the girl went to Form One, the paedophile suddenly contacted and asked her out. She refused but he threatened to send her nude photos to the media and her doctor father.
He took her to his parents' home and a hotel, where he molested her, forcing her to masturbate and perform oral sex on him on several occasions.
He also took more nude photographs of her. In 2006, the girl went to study in UK and thought everything would be over. During summer in 2008, the paedophile asked the girl out again when he found out that she had returned home for holiday.
But she refused, telling him that she was about to return to UK. The man then warned her to contact him whenever she returned to Hong Kong. And she did. After keeping it secret for so long, she could no longer handle the situation and told her best friend about it in March. The paedophile was arrested in September.
