It is a matter of time before the emperor with no clothes is exposed. Sinkapore doesn't have a long term growth plan. We don't have industries that can create good paying jobs. Instead we have to bottom down wages as our business just don't know how to compete with innovations, branding, marketing etc. And the PAP government is just as clueless.

The low wage game is a dead end one ...there are always going to be countries that can produce cheaper, so is sinkapore going to sink to the wages of African countries?

you know that's utter bullshit, most of these foreigners are work permit holders and S-Pass.

our government demands the best pay for themselves, arguing for top pay for top talent. but when it comes to singaporean workers, we expect them to work for as little as possible.

You have to thank the foreigners for that. They're the ones doing most of the work especially in the high value add industries.
