Singaporeans are most ‘disgusting’ and ‘irritating’

Singaporeans are the most ‘disgusting’ and ‘irritating’ lot of people if the result of an online poll is to be taken at face value.

According to a chinese blog (Lion City Life/狮城生活) frequented by PRCs in Singapore, a poll was conducted seeking feedback from its forumers on the most disgusting and irritating people with 8 choices, namely: Singaporean, Philippinoes, Malays, Malaysians, Japanese, Chinese (PRC), Korean and Indians.



The result as of today, 1220 hours shows that Singaporeans are the most ‘disgusting’ and ‘irritating’ lot, followed by Philippinoes and Malays (not Malaysians) with 48.15%, 5.94% and 7.41% of votes garnered respectively.

The poll starter with the moniker “sayangweiwei” had asked in chinese “来到新加坡，大家多多少少都有跟不同过家的人接触，哪个国家的人最让你们反感，讨厌？” which loosely translates to “having been in Singapore, all must have met people from other countries. Which country’s people are the most disgusting and irritating?”

IMO, the opinion polls may be a correct reflection of the 60% or grasslooters. The remaining 40% wouldnt bother to have much contact with the ah tiongs for no good reasons.

PRC chicken coming to Singapore thinking everything is guaranteed to be good here. We, the citizen of Singapore, worked very hard to make a living. I do not know what the garment or the lowly agents promised the PRC working girls when they entered here on work permit or student pass but nothing come easily. They cannot expect everything to be spoonfeed into their mouth and as foreigners in this island they cannot expect Singaporeans to treat them like one of us.

If they think coming to Singapore is to enjoy good life staying in private apartment and moving around the island in nice cars then something is wrong with their mentality. And in short, these PRC is really worthless people.

Are Singaporeans the most "disgusting and "irritating" bunch of people around?
Well, users of one blog in Chinese seem to think so.
The blog 'Lion City Life', which is supposedly frequented by foreign nationals from China based in Singapore, had conducted a poll seeking feedback from respondents on the most "disgusting and "irritating" people.
Believed to be a poll starter, a person with the moniker of "sayangweiwei" had asked in Chinese, "Having been in Singapore, all must have met people from other countries. Which country's people are the most disgusting and irritating?"
Eight choices were provided, namely: Singaporean, Filipino, Malays, Malaysian, Japanese, Chinese (China), Korean and Indian.
According to socio-political website Temasek Review, the results as reflected on Thursday showed that Singaporeans were voted as the most "disgusting and irritating" people with 48.15 percent of the votes, followed by Filipinos and Malays who garnered 7.41 percent and 5.94 percent of the votes, respectively.
When Yahoo! Singapore tried to visit the site on Friday, the blog had been taken down.

This "poll" comes as a German TV variety show Galileo attracted attention here for tongue-in-cheek references to Singaporeans' way of life.
In an episode aired in early May this year, the show's host had said, "Singaporeans are not just crazy, they are tremendously crazy."
